As HelloSign continues to grow at a fast pace, we’re continuously looking for ways to improve the way users interact with our brand. Today, we’re announcing a complete redesign of our brand and website. We started discussing a redesign five months ago to see if there was a better way to tell our story. Here’s what we came up with:
A New Brand When HelloSign’s co-founders Joseph Walla and Neal O’Mara first started working on HelloSign back in 2012, the only criterion was that the brand match the company’s friendly name. A rather broad direction for any brand to take. But now, two years later, things are a little different. The company has grown to twenty two employees and tens of thousands of customers. It was obvious that it was time to create a brand as sophisticated as the company had become. It was time for the brand to level up. A Simple, Easy-To-Navigate Website We completely reimagined 20+ pages of our website to meet a couple of very important goals:
- Ease of use: It should be super simple for users to get all the information that they’re looking for.
- Consistency: the new website should match the new brand in every aspect including messaging and visuals.
Mobile Friendly Considering that 58% of American Adults are using a smartphone today, it was a no-brainer to make our website completely responsive. We came up with separate rules around what works and what doesn’t work once you start making the screen size smaller. After many iterations, we ended up with a website that looks just as polished on a smartphone as it does on a desktop.
