Our very own Director of Information Security, Anshu Gupta, will be speaking in San Francisco about the security of eSignatures next Tuesday, December 15th.
The event, hosted by SF-based and tech-friendly meetup group OpenDNS, will cover essential information regarding the security of eSignatures, the future of eSignature compliance, and more!
What to expect
During his talk, Anshu will address current trends in security, including what makes eSignatures legal and compliant. He’ll also dive into specifics of eSignature security like audit-trails and encryption.
Here’s a blurb from Anshu sharing what you can look forward to:
“As the world moves towards being paperless with the introduction of online tools and means to sign electronically, people have questions around the validity of electronic signatures and the security/compliance concerns around them. But electronic signatures have for long been a legal and secure way to sign documents.
This presentation is a primer into electronic signatures, security, and compliance issues around them. Issues like non-tampering, encryption, audit trails, digital certificates will be discussed. Emerging technologies like use of blockchains and smart contracts will also be covered.”
If you’re in SF, stop by and say hello! Reserve your spot by joining the OpenLate group and RSVP’ing to the “Electronic Signatures – Security and Compliance Issues” meetup.
